ABOUT MUSEUM HACK

Museum Hack has conquered NYC, DC, Chicago, LA, and we're kicking butt in San Francisco. It’s time to keep the museum party going!! We need more awesome San Fran-area residents to join our team as part-time tour guides for our “unconventional” museum adventures.

We craft amazing museum experiences for museum skeptics. Our best tour guides are not the center of attention -- they make the Museum the star attraction. We lead with passion and charisma. The joke is, "We do museum tours for people who don't like museums."

Museum Hack uses the world class collection at incredible museums around the world as our playground to create "un-highlights tours" that focus on hidden works, oddities, and saucy stories. Museum Hack guides combine these stories with antics and quirky activities that get you to think about the museum experience in new ways. We also consult for Fortune 500s and top museums worldwide, and do team building for groups in museums. (We promise, it’s super-fun.)

You will lead small groups of adults on a fast-paced, spirited journey through San Fran-area museums. We want guides who can share the juicy stories and fascinating histories of their selected objects in an engaging, sassy and succinct way.

You'll have lots of creative freedom and independence in the content you create, and support from the Museum Hack team to keep it within our defined style. You'll get to work with some of the coolest people around. You'll have monthly trainages and hangages to increase your own skills and explore San Francisco on our dime. Plus, the tours are fucking fun.
